Everything You Need To know About Time Travelling!

Time Travelling! the first question whichever comes in mind after hearing the word time traveling is "Real or Myth" Time traveling has always been mind boggling and full of hypothetical space! There is no answer in relation to any question ever made on time traveling! Everyone once think of going into the past to change their present and future, isn't it true? I mean I can explain time travel as a theory! but everyone like practically which directly means time travel is not practically possible! let's run into some theory!

Theory:- Some theories, most notably special and general relativity, suggest that suitable geometries of spacetime or specific types of motion in space might allow time travel into the past and future if these geometries or motions were possible. In technical papers, physicists generally avoid the commonplace language of "moving" or "traveling" through time ("movement" normally refers only to a change in spatial position as the time coordinate is varied), and instead discuss the possibility of closed timelike curves, which are worldlines that form closed loops in spacetime, allowing objects to return to their own past. There are known to be solutions to the equations of general relativity that describe spacetimes which contain closed timelike curves (such as Gödel spacetime), but the physical plausibility of these solutions is uncertain. Relativity predicts that if one were to move away from the Earth at relativistic velocities and return, more time would have passed on Earth than for the traveler, so in this sense it is accepted that relativity allows "travel into the future" (according to relativity there is no single objective answer to how much time has really passed between the departure and the return, but there is an objective answer to how much proper time has been experienced by both the Earth and the traveler, i.e., how much each has aged; see twin paradox). On the other hand, many in the scientific community believe that backward time travel is highly unlikely. Any theory that would allow time travel would introduce potential problems of causality. The classic example of a problem involving causality is the "grandfather paradox": what if one were to go back in time and kill one's own grandfather before one's father was conceived? But some scientists believe that paradoxes can be avoided, by appealing either to the Novikov self-consistency principle or to the notion of branching parallel universes.

The above paragraph is the totally theoretical concept of time travel and paradoxes show that time travel never existed! that means time travel is made of couple of words which are "TIME" and "TRAVEL"
According to me, Time is Money and Travelling is fun!. The theory is a scientifical explanation of time traveling! everything is hypothetical and never proved. According to Einstein's theory of relativity(E=MC^2) if anything travels with the speed of light its mass tends to increase at greater extends and time slows down. I think it didn't make sense to you, let's go deeper!

First of all, you must know What Is Relativity? Einsteins theory is divided into two parts the first part is Special relativity and the other one is General relativity! I think I am slipping off from the real article that is of Time Travel. but don't worry Einstein knows everything about time and traveling!

Special relativity

Einstein's theory is divided into special and general relativity. Special relativity came first and is based on the speed of light being constant for everyone. That may seem simple enough, but it has far-reaching consequences. Einstein came to this conclusion in 1905 after experimental evidence showed that the speed of light didn't change as the Earth swung around the Sun. This result was surprising to physicists because the speed of most other things does depend on what direction the observer is moving. If you drive your car alongside a railroad track, a train coming at you will seem to be moving much faster than if you turned around and followed it in the same direction. Einstein said that all observers will measure the speed of light to be 186,000 miles per second, no matter how fast and what direction they are moving. This maxim prompted the comedian Stephen Wright to ask: "If you are in a spaceship that is traveling at the speed of light, and you turn on the headlights, does anything happen?"The answer is the headlights turn on normally, but only from the perspective of someone inside the spaceship. For someone standing outside watching the ship fly by, the headlights do not appear to turn on: light comes out but it takes an eternity for the beams to get ahead of the spaceship. These contradictory versions arise because rulers and clocks — the things that mark time and space — are not the same for different observers. If the speed of light is to be held constant as Einstein said, then time and space cannot be absolute; they must be subjective. For instance, a 100-foot-long spaceship traveling at 99.99 percent the speed of light will appear one foot long to a stationary observer, but it will remain its normal length for those onboard. Perhaps even weirder, time passes slower the faster one goes. If a twin rides in the speeding spaceship to some distant star and then comes back, she will be younger than her sister who stayed on Earth.

What is a paradox? and what is Time paradox?

A paradox is a statement or idea that seems to contradict itself. And, to be fair, they can be confusing.
Think about the statement, 'This sentence is false.' Is it true? If it's true, then it's false. But if it's false, how can it be true? Yep, it's a paradox. Why do we find paradoxes in literature? A paradox can be a useful literary device. Writers use paradoxical statements to make us see something in a new way or question what we thought was true. Sometimes they just show how complex life can be.

we were talking about Time so let's come directly to Time Paradox or Time Travel Paradox! It has many types but I am explaining to you a few of them!


1.THE BOOTSTRAP PARADOX

The Bootstrap Paradox is a paradox of time travel that questions how something that is taken from the future and placed in the past could ever come into being in the first place. It’s a common trope used by science fiction writers and has inspired plotlines in everything from doctor Who to the Bill and Ted movies, but one of the most memorable and straightforward examples—by Professor David Toomey of the University of Massachusetts and used in his book The New Time Travellers—involves an author and his manuscript.

Imagine that a time traveler buys a copy of Hamlet from a bookstore, travels back in time to Elizabethan London, and hands the book to Shakespeare, who then copies it out and claims it as his own work. Over the centuries that follow, Hamlet is reprinted and reproduced countless times until finally, a copy of it ends up back in the same original bookstore, where the time traveler finds it, buys it, and takes it back to Shakespeare. Who, then, wrote Hamlet?

2.THE GRANDFATHER PARADOX
The story goes something like this: a serial-killing time traveler (or chrononaut), let’s call him Jack, goes back in time with the intent to kill his biological grandfather when the latter was still a little boy.
STOP! Before you continue reading, grab yourself another cup of coffee, and give it a moment of thought. What do you think will happen?

1. Jack, who happens to be an expert sniper, arrives in his tardis or DeLorean, grabs a shotgun and pulls the trigger. A moment later, Jack’s grandfather lies dead on the ground. The poor man no longer meets his future wife, and as a result, one of Jack’s parents (and by extension Jack himself) is never conceived.
2. Since Jack ceases to exist, he can’t go back in time to kill his father’s father! So Jack’s grandfather inevitably meets Jack’s grandmother. They mary, have children, and some years later, little Jack is born, allowing him to travel back in time to shoot his grandfather. Go back to step 1. Clearly, each possibility implies its own negation: if Jack's grandfather dies, he lives; if he lives, he dies?! In philosophical discourse, this is known as an inconsistent causal loop. Physicists, on the other hand, prefer the term closed timelike curve, usually abbreviated as CTC. We'll have plenty of opportunities to talk more about CTCs in future posts.
I read this story in a book and it was pretty interesting and mind-boggling! At this point, you would know that time is nothing but "TIME IS MONEY" and TRAVELLING IS FUN and I love traveling!
